Bansko is currently experiencing a tourist boom. The major tour operators have reported sales quadrupling this season and are keen to take on new properties. Real World International has teamed up with ‘Balkan Holiday Rentals’, Bulgaria’s largest holiday rental company.
Tour operators have already expressed an interest in this property for the forthcoming winter season and it will be marketed both with the major tour operators across Europe and on their web site (www.bulgarianholidayrentals.co.uk). Although ‘Narcis Resort’ won’t be completed until December 2005 we can use the rental potential today to compare against current developments such as those outlined above. The rental prices are based on the proximity to the ski lift, facilities, size of development, quality of property and views. It is evident from the figures that ‘Narcis Resort’ will be far more superior to any other development in Bansko, subsequently it shall offer holiday makers and tourists a completely different level of accommodation than other developments in the area. After comparing the current accommodation we estimate rental prices to be around £425 a week Hi Season and £250 a week low season. This is a conservative estimate bearing in mind rentals in 2005 will be much higher than at present.
‘Bulgarian Holiday Rentals’ has already signed the contract for rentals for the 2005/2006 season for ‘Narcis Resort’ and will be rated as a ’Premium Rate Product’ due to the developments facilities and quality.
